FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- Blake Siebenaler grew up in Fort Wayne, and this year he'll finally get to play for his hometown team.

The Komets announced the signing of the defenseman on Thursday. The Blue Jackets picked Siebenaler in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft. He has spent much of his pro career at the AHL, but played all of last season in the ECHL with the Nailers.

Fort Wayne also re-signs defenseman Kyle Haas and goaltender Stefanos Lekkas. In addition to those moves, the Komets bring in forward Tommy Beaudoin on a tryout agreement.
