FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Fort Wayne based Traction Athletic Performance found a way to get local high school football players exposure that pandemic shutdowns had pretty much eliminated.

Hundreds of high school football players spent the last two Saturdays at the Traction Performance Skills Camp at Empowered Sports Club going through all kinds of drills under the eyes of college coaches either on hand or able to watch on a webcast.

Players ranged from incoming freshmen to incoming seniors and there were sessions for all positions, offense and defense.

Organizers Dre Muhammad and Lawrence Barnett said players who had not gotten attention from colleges before were now getting multiple schools interested in them and in several cases netting scholarship offers from colleges.
