Hot and dry weather will continue for the next several days as a nearby ridge of high pressure sits stubbornly to our east.
Plan on a mostly clear night with lows in the 60s.
Wednesday and Thursday will feature gradually warmer temperatures with highs in the low 90s and a light east wind between 5-10 mph. Humidity shouldn't be too crazy the next couple of days, so it shouldn't feel too much hotter than the actual air temperature.
Friday through the holiday weekend, however, it gets a bit hotter and muggier. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s with the heat index reaching the mid, to perhaps upper 90s at times.
Be sure to drink plenty of water and don't leave any person or pet unattended in a hot vehicle!
