FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Gary Graham still wants to work in hockey, but right now his longtime seasonal vocation is taking up his time.

Graham has for many years been in the fireworks business, before his pro hockey coaching career began with the Komets.

He still wants to coach, but the team in China that signed him for two seasons, including this one, is not operating this year due to the pandemic.

Graham is pursuing jobs in Europe, but teams there are waiting to see if visas can be obtained for Americans to come over, and as a result, Graham's hockey plans are on hold.

He says he may take the year off coaching or possibly help with his son's junior team in Indianapolis.

But for now, the busiest part of the year for those in the fireworks business has his attention.
