Report: Oladipo decides not to play in NBA restart

INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA21) -- Pacers star Victor Oladipo will not join his teammates when the NBA season resumes at the end of July.

According to reports from The Athletic and ESPN, Oladipo has opted out of the season, an option that several other players throughout the league have already chosen.

So far, Oladipo's the only Pacers player to make this move.

Oladipo spent much of this season rehabbing a knee injury, including some time spent in Fort Wayne, practicing with the Mad Ants.

Oladipo returned to NBA action in late January, and played in 13 games before the season was suspended. Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in that limited play.
