FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The Allen County Coroner's Office says a 29-year-old Fort Wayne man was shot and killed over the weekend.
On Sunday, July 26, police responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of E. Lewis Street.
Detectives said there was a large party of about 100 people when gunfire rang out, hitting three people.
Medics rushed two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while one man was mortally wounded.
Frederick D. Sanders, 29, was shot multiple times and died from his wounds, the Allen County Coroner said Monday morning.
The coroner's office ruled his death the 28th homicide in Allen County this year.
