Masks among the most-needed school supply donations

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The Fort Wayne Salvation Army is making a final push for donations for its annual Tools for School drive.

Friday is the last day the Salvation Army will be collecting school supplies, in red barrels at Allen County Walgreens stores and Sweetwater Sound.

The organization is asking for the "usual" school supplies, like backpacks, glue sticks and binders, but it's also urging people to donate face masks and hand sanitizer, items students will need when they go back to school amid the Coronavirus.

If you'd like to donate money, you can do that on the Fort Wayne Salvation Army's website.
