We had a warm month of July. Temperatures recorded at the Fort Wayne International Airport indicated that July 2020 was 3.5 degrees warmer than normal.

August will be a different story. We are going to start the new month on a cooler note. Cool and dry air will come down from Canada next week. This will put our our highs in the mid 70s and our lows in the mid 50s. It will be a nice relief from the heat and humidity.

Rain wise the month of July was all over the place in Northeast Indiana. For Fort Wayne is wetter than normal month, but for Kendallville and Auburn it was dryer than normal. Chances for rain will come back this weekend!

A storm system will be isolated showers tomorrow afternoon. Saturday night into Sunday morning we will see scattered showers as the storm system exits the region.

A weak cold front will provide more chances for rain early next week. Enjoy the cooler weather while it lasts!
