Police search for credit union robber

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Police are investigating a robbery at the Partner’s First Federal Credit Union at 6731 Old Trail Road.

It happened Friday at 4:59 p.m. and initial information indicates the suspect entered the credit union and demanded money, police said.

The suspect then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were seen and nobody was injured.

The suspect is a white man in his mid 30s, 6’2” to 6’4” with a medium build and was wearing a long sleeve gray shirt. He drove a black or navy blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with tinted windows, police said.

Detectives are canvassing the area, searching for witnesses and video surveillance from nearby buildings. Crime scene personnel are searching for any evidence.
