FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- The Saint Francis football team will have to wait until 2021 to play its next real game.
Friday, the NAIA announced its decision to push the National Championship tournament for football to the spring.
Later in the day, the Mid-States Football Association put out its update. The MSFA will move its conference schedule to the spring as well, but individual teams can play non-conference games in the fall if they choose so.
Saint Francis will not split up its schedule, deciding to play every game in the spring.
The Cougars will hold a 'Fall Game,' an intrasquad exhibition serving the same purpose the Spring Game would serve in a normal year.
