Rain chances sticking around this weekend

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

With the month of July ending. According to the Fort Wayne International Airport we saw above average rainfall for the month. I wish I could say the same for Northeast Indiana.

Areas towards the North and East of Fort Wayne have seen a drier month than normal. This leads to the areas to be under a moderate drought, which has brought stress to the farmers.

Good news, rain chances will be coming back this weekend! A storm system will bring isolated to scattered showers this afternoon. As we get through tonight into early Sunday morning, we could see more widespread of showers. Some showers may cause localized flooding.

Rain chances will continue on Monday from a cold front that could bring light scattered showers. There won't be a severe threat from these storm systems.

Temperature wise? We will have a nice break from the heat and the humidity. Highs will stay in the 70s for the week ahead!
