Purdue Fort Wayne will look a little different for the fall semester.

FORT WAYNE Ind. (WPTA21)- Purdue Fort Wayne will look different this fall to keep students safe during the pandemic.

Purdue Fort Wayne will be requiring students and faculty to wear face masks while they are at physical in person classes.

If mouth movement is needed to be seen a clear face shield will be required in place of the face mask.

Officials say that the 1,500 classes that were originally planned to be held this year will have 200 online, 445 in person and the remaining classes will be held in a hybrid version.

Any class that is required to be in person will be moved to a larger room to allow for proper social distancing.

Purdue Fort Wayne will begin their fall semester on August 24th.
