Eco Fest Fort Wayne hosts inaugural festival Sunday

FORT WAYNE Ind. (WPTA21) - Eco Fest Fort Wayne held their inaugural festival Sunday and it helped raise money for an organization called Fort Wayne Trails.

The Fort Wayne Eco Fest was held on Sunday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. in partnership with Fort Wayne Trails.

The event was held at Headwater's Park West and was free to the public.

A portion of the profits made at Eco Fest will go to Fort Wayne Trails, an organization that works with local city organizations to develop and connect trail systems in Allen County.

There were several vendors and non-profits available for families to enjoy as well as music and workshops that would teach them about sustainability.

Eco Fest aims to show people how to become more ecologically sustainable and hopefully bring sustainability to the public.
