Today is going to be a normal summer-like day here in Northeast Indiana. We will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 80s. With the humidity returning, we could see a stray pop-up storm in the afternoon.
The moisture being added is all thanks to a high pressure system towards our southeast. This system will bring warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico which could cause some instability.
More rain is in the forecast. Two fronts will pass through the Hoosier state that will bring on and off scattered storms. Temperatures will continue to warm in the upper 80s for Monday.
The heat and humidity will continue to stick around the work week ahead. With this being said, isolated storms will be possible for each day of this week.
