WARSAW, Ind. (WPTA21) - After days of prepping his mural wall, artist Tim Parsley began putting down his first coat of paint in Kosciusko County.

Parsley is installing Kosciusko County's addition for Mural Fest.

An art teacher at the University of Saint Francis, Parsley is perhaps best known for his Bison mural in downtown Fort Wayne.

He told us what this black canvas in downtown Warsaw will look like when it's done.

"One of the first things that you realize driving through, you can't go left or right without seeing a lake. And so it's a very important aspect to the region. This mural, what I've tried to do is pull together and celebrate both the recreational and natural life of lake life, so I think it will be a fitting mural for this region," said Parsley.

Parsley is working with two mentees for his mural and was appreciative of their work in helping bring his vision to life.
