The coldest temperatures of the season swept through the region late last week and into the weekend, with some areas recording their first frost! However, a warmer and perhaps even more summery pattern is taking shape for this week.
Tonight's lows will once again tumble into the 40s under mostly clear skies. Wildfire smoke will make for a somewhat hazy sky Tuesday and Wednesday, but high temperatures will still manage to make it into the mid and upper 70s.
I don't think we'll see widespread 80s until Saturday, but just like the weekend's cold chill, these 80º temperatures don't appear to last long as another shot of colder air makes its way into the region by the end of the weekend.
