Train slams into semi stuck on tracks; no injuries reported



EDGERTON, Ind. (WPTA21) - A Norfolk Southern train slammed into a semi that got caught up on the tracks Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., first responders were called to the intersection of S. State Line Road and Railroad Street at the Indiana and Ohio state line.
Police said a semi was hauling another semi-truck when the driver tried to go over the tracks and got stuck.
The driver was able to get out in time before the impact.
There were no injuries from the truck driver or the railroad workers, police said.
The Allen County Sheriff's Department is handling the crash investigation.
