FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Not all communities in 21Country will be staging their door-to-door candy collection on Saturday.
In Auburn, celebrants are asked to trick or treat at downtown businesses on Thursday, Oct. 29, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and after 6 p.m. in neighborhoods.
Ligonier has set trick or treat hours for 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Elsewhere, breakout Halloween events are taking place in advance of the holiday itself.
The North Manchester Public Library will host a drive-thru trick-or-treat on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Signs outside the library will guide participants on their collection route.
In Avilla, the Creepy Curbside Goodie Grab takes place both in the morning, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., and later in the day, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Families can pick up Halloween bags at the Noble County Public Library in Avilla and enjoy a costume parade, story walk, and photo ops.
At the Noble County Public Library in Cromwell, treat bags are available from 10 a.m. until noon and 4 p.m. until 6 p.m, Be sure to wear your costumes. There will be prizes for the top five best dressed.
The Delphos Area Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a “Trick-or-Treat Night” from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m in downtown Delphos.
