TAKE A LOOK: FWPD releases sketch of attempted kidnapping suspect

Fort Wayne Police released a sketch of a suspect wanted in connection to an attempted child abduction on Oct. 12 in the 4400 Isleview Cove.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - About a month after Fort Wayne Police learned of an attempted kidnapping, detectives released a sketch of a possible suspect.

The attempted abduction happened Monday, Oct. 12 just after 1:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of Isleview Cove in the North Shores addition.

Here's the description of the suspect:

  • M/W or M/H
  • 30’s
  • Black hair
  • Smaller gage style earrings
  • Possible stitches or some type of scar on his hand
  • White hooded sweatshirt sleeves cut around the elbow
  • Blue jeans
  • Blue Nike shoes

Police are asking anyone who has surveillance video or may have seen something they have not yet reported to call 427-1201.

If you have surveillance video and live in the area of the incident, you're asked to check at least two hours before and at least one hour after 1:40 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
