We are tracking a weather system that could potentially bring our first accumulating snow of the winter season. However, is doesn't look to be an impactful one.
Snow chances will start this morning. Areas North of Fort Wayne will have better chances of seeing snow. It's a tricky forecast as temperatures will be flirting around the freezing point.
By late morning to early afternoon, the snow will transition into rain showers as temperatures begin to warm up. In addition, we could see snow accumulations from a trace amounts up to 2 inches.
Now I don't think it will stick on the roads, but I do think it's very possible to stick on grassy surfaces. In addition, with the rain coming in the afternoon it will also melt down the snow as well!
The precipitation should move out of the region by early this evening, leaving us with a cool and cloudy night ahead.
