(WPTA21) - ABC21 Producer Kayla Crandall introduces you to two couples who are navigating the pandemic with significant others who live in different countries.

Madison Parker met Saul Philbin Bowman on a popular dating app, and their connection was made possible thanks to a weird set of circumstances.

Madison lives and works in Kalamazoo, Michigan while Saul lives across the pond in Dublin, Ireland.

Their story is similar to Fort Wayne woman Christin Bell who is dating Josh Hague of England.

These two couples aren't sure when they'll get to see each other next because of strict travel guidelines.

Christin and Josh are using online activism to convince the United States and the UK to come up with a plan to allow unmarried couples to see one another.

Love Is Not Tourism is a Facebook group of more than 40,000 people. It's a grassroots global movement that started at the onset of the pandemic when many international borders are closed, leaving unmarried couples without much recourse. Learn more here.

Also mentioned in the podcast is the social networking app House Party. Learn more about it here.
