Indiana ramps up recruitment for workers to help in COVID-19 response

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The end of the year is bringing a stepped-up call for workers in Indiana to help the state respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Indiana's Department of Health is leading the call for those who can fill various positions directly or indirectly related to COVID-19.
Though anyone is able to apply, college students are being recruited, in particular, since many of the jobs are part-time and could work well within a student's schedule.
The State needs workers in myriad settings/locations and various types of roles, including: registering individuals for COVID testing, making calls for contact tracing, transporting nursing home patients from their room to the cafeteria, etc.
