Two men rob Miracle on Jefferson Pop-Up Bar: Owner

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21)- Two men robbed the Miracle on Jefferson Pop-Up bar Sunday morning according to the owner Gary Skeel.

Skeel tells ABC21 it happened early Sunday morning but they didn't notice anything was missing until they checked surveillance video in the afternoon. He says they stole more than $1500 from their safe box, all their tip money, computers and electronics and merchandise.

Skeel says the were already struggling because of the pandemic and hope they will be able to recover with insurance money and support from the community.

He posted on the bar's Instagram page Sunday afternoon, with a picture of the two men he believes are responsible.

Skeel says the bar was supposed to be open for one last night Sunday but they will be closing instead. He says they usually donate a part of the proceeds they make from the bar to local charities.
