House fire in Fort Wayne; No injures reported
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire at 100 block of East Dewald Street.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from the basement of the 2 story house. No one was home at the time of the fire however, there was one dog that was taken by Animal Care and Control.
The fire was under control in about 20 minutes. There was fire and water damage in the basement and here was heavy smoke damage throughout the house.
The cause of house fire in under investigation.
