FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The City of Fort Wayne’s art scene has exploded in the last several years.
Can you believe that the city’s first piece of commissioned public art, was only a few years ago in 2014? Now, you can’t drive downtown without seeing vibrant public murals near every block.
At the end of last month, Visit Fort Wayne published some of the most notable work by African-American creatives, and the story behind them.
They’ve shared a map of every piece of art in the area, but we’re highlighting several, to celebrate Black History Month.
