Shooting leaves two dead, another injured on Hobson Road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and another person injured Wednesday night. Now one person has been arrested in connection to the shooting.

Police were called to the area of E. State Boulevard and Hobson Road around 7:30 p.m. on reports of a shooting.

According to police, two men were found dead at the scene and a third victim is in critical condition.

According to police dispatch, a number of streets are blocked off while police investigate and people are asked to avoid the area.

Fort Wayne police have released the two images captured on surveillance of a person they believe to be a suspect in the shooting.

Police say they were able to quickly locate the suspect at a home in the 2200 block of Laverne Avenue. After an hours long standoff police took 32-year-old Joseph Bossard in to custody. Police say he's being charged with two counts of murder.
