FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The father of one of the young men killed in a triple shooting in Fort Wayne is hurting, knowing his son died in such a violent way.

Joshua Cooper and Anderson Retic, both 19, were shot and killed while sitting in their car at a gas station on Hobson Road.

A third person is in serious condition.

On the phone Monday evening, Renaldo Chinn III, still grieving, is coming to terms with the loss of his son.

Chinn described his son, Anderson -- known by family and friends as "Andy" -- as a happy person and always smiling.

The young man had two children, and Chinn said he was dedicated to them.

"I never thought my child would be a victim of injustice in this type of manner. And I never thought I'd possibly have to be the one to say, 'He's my son,'" Chinn said.

Hours after the shooting, police arrested Joseph Bossard.

He faces two counts of murder and one count of aggravated battery in the case.
