FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Friends and family of the three young men who were shot last week have gathered at the Allen County courthouse.

Close to 100 people had gathered at the courthouse green before 11 a.m. Tuesday to show their support for the shooting victims and to also demand justice be served.

Joshua Cooper and Anderson Retic, both 19, were shot and killed while sitting in their car at a gas station on Hobson Road last week.

20-year-old Jaylin Rice remains in the hospital, having survived three surgeries and losing a kidney.

Bundled up, folks were holding signs that read, "Long Live Josh, Long Live Andy," "Justice," and "#JaylinStrong."

Some members of the group held a prayer for the family of the victims.

Organizers chose to gather Tuesday because the suspect held in the crime was set to appear in court.

The Allen County Prosecutor's Office formally charged 32-year-old Joseph Bossard in the slayings. He's also facing an attempted murder charge.
