FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - It will be another "delay of games" for the University of Saint Francis football team, as its season opener has been called off.
The Cougars were set to start an unusual spring season this Saturday, hosting Madonna University of Livonia, Mich.
But concerns tied to the coronavirus at Madonna led to an announcement that the game will not be played.
USF had scheduled seven regular season games for the season, which was postponed from its typical fall dates.
The Cougars will now look to begin play March 6 when they are set to host Taylor University.
