Temperatures in the mid 40s and sunny afternoon skies made for a pleasant late-February Saturday. Clouds are set to return, however, along with rain showers for Sunday.

A quick-moving weather system pushes in tonight, causing clouds to build in. Southerly winds keep temperatures relatively mild, with lows in the upper 30s.

Rain showers enter the picture early Sunday morning (around 5AM or so). More widespread rain is possible later on in the morning before tapering off by 10AM or so. The rest of the day brings the potential for light and widely scattered rain showers. Despite the rain, temperatures rise well into the 50s, with some spots likely reaching just shy of 60°!

Cooler air arrives on the back side of the system, with temperatures crashing back to the low 40s. We could even see a stray snow shower on Monday!

Will the cool air last through the work week? I'll have the answer tonight at 6 and 11PM on ABC21!
