Welcome to mud season

Temperatures will be cooler today with afternoon and evening highs rising only into the lower 40s. It will start cloudy but increasingly become sunny. Despite the clearing, it will be breezy with 40 mph gusts possible.

Tonight winds and clouds diminish leading to a chilly start to Tuesday. Tuesday starts in the lower 20s but should rise into the mid 40s. 30 mph gusts will be possible.

The rest of the week will have highs in the 40s with plenty of sun but mornings will start below freezing. Snow will continue to melt slowly with the ground remaining damp and soft for much of the week.
