Carroll, Homestead post big wins on first night of sectionals

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- Two of the top teams from the SAC started their postseason runs with decisive victories on Tuesday night.

Jalen Jackson put up 24 points as Carroll earned a 70-41 win over Northrop at the East Noble sectional.

In the late game, Snider and DeKalb battled into triple overtime, before the Panthers claimed a 66-61 win.

Over at Columbia City, Homestead dispatched Huntington North 62-37 in the early game.

Wayne then took out host Columbia City 57-52.
