Komets up attendance cap; Hundreds of tickets added

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday said 400 more seats would be available for games, starting this weekend.

The team received approval from local health officials to add to its game day capacity, as Allen County remained in the "yellow" status zone regarding COVID-19 health advisories.

"The Komet organization is grateful to the Allen County Health Department for allowing more seats to be opened up safely for Komet home games," Komets President Michael Franke said. "Over 100 of these seats are prime tickets which will excite Komet fans wishing to attend this weekend’s home games with Wheeling."

The tickets are on sale now at the War Memorial Coliseum Memorial ticket office or at

Fort Wayne hosts the Wheeling Nailers with contests this Friday and Saturday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
