DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) - A man wanted in multiple states evaded authorities in Ohio and is now on the loose in DeKalb County.

Hicksville, Ohio Police said officers noticed a suspicious vehicle sitting in a driveway on High Street early around 1:15 a.m.

The driver, later identified as 28-year-old Skyler Robertson, got out of the car. An officer pulled up to speak with him, and that's when police said Robertson got back in his car and sped off.

Police chased him into Indiana until he drove into a muddy cornfield on CR 75 and got stuck.

Robertson ran off and remains at large.

A passenger was detained and later released.

Hicksville police said Robertson has active warrants in Tennessee, Georgia and Colorado.

Robertson now has a warrant for failing to comply from an order by a police officer.

Hicksville officers said he has a history of violence and drug use, so if you see him, you're asked to call 911.
