Komets win at Indy on huge night for Hawkins

INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA21) -- Komets forward Brandon Hawkins scored four goals on Wednesday night, helping Fort Wayne pick up a 6-3 win at Indy.

The Komets trailed 3-2 heading into the third. At the exact mid-point of the period, Hawkins delivered hits hat-trick goal, tying the game a 3-3.

Morgan Adams-Moisan scored 77 seconds after that to put Fort Wayne in front. Hakwins netted his fourth goal on a power play in the final minutes. Anthony Nellis helped seal the victory with an empty net goal.

The Komets return home to host the Jacksonville Icemen on Friday night at 8pm.
