Tale of the tape: Principal sticks to terms of promise to students

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The principal at a Northwest Allen County Schools elementary school made good on his promise -- and found himself in a sticky situation after making a pledge to students.

Caleb Miner is the principal at Perry Hill Elementary School.

Students there recently took part in a series of fund-raisers to benefit the American Cancer Society.

The "Relay for Life" brought in about $12,000 for the organization, and landed Miner up against the wall for a ceremonial "taping" on Thursday afternoon.

The event took place as part of last-day festivities preceding Spring Break, which begins on Friday for NACS students.
