FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) -- Former Purdue and South Side basketball star Rapheal Davis has put together a busy schedule of hoops activity in his home town.
This week, Davis is hosting a three-day 'Bigger Than Basketball' camp for Fort Wayne Community Schools kids on spring break. He hopes to turn this into an annual event.
Davis will host another four-day camp in the summer. He's also working with DeShaun Thomas on a Summer League.
Davis said it was important to give back to basketball in his home community.
"In ten years, if I look back and I say basketball is not good in Fort Wayne, where it used to be, it's on me," Thomas said.
Davis has several other projects going on right now, including his weekly podcast.
