Tomorrow begins a cooler and wet pattern

nmFutureTrack Rain

Today should be the last of the truly warm days for at least the next week.

Highs will be upper 70s and lower 80s again. Today will be more cloudy than yesterday which should limit the number of 80 degree highs. A few showers and rumbles of thunder are possible this afternoon and evening.

Tomorrow starts in the 50s with cloudy skies and a few showers. Rain is likely throughout the day but severe weather is unlikely.

A few showers could linger into Friday morning. Rain totals will vary widely depending on where bands set up, although totals should be under one-half inch across the area.

Highs will be in the upper 60s Thursday through Saturday with cooler weather Sunday through next week.

Another system moves in during the weekend bringing better chances for an inch of rain. Coming up at 12 and 5PM, we'll have the latest on the rain chances today plus when the rain could start this weekend.
