A low pressure system continues to linger in our region, causing clouds and showers to hang around. That system begins to move out tonight, which will bring widespread showers to an end, but temperatures closer to average are here to stay this week.
Expect showers to remain possible through about midnight. Some heavy rain is possible at times, but thunderstorms are not expected. After midnight, conditions should remain mostly dry. Temperatures fall to the low 40s.
We'll see a bit more clearing Monday. Most locations should stay dry, but a few light showers are possible as the weather system tries to exit. Temperatures warm slightly compared to Sunday, with highs in the low to mid 60s.
Temperatures hover around the 60° mark for most of this week, which is where they should be this time of year. No widespread rain chances are expected through the work week.
