We've experienced a nearly picture-perfect weekend with temperatures in the 70s and 80s along with plenty of sunshine. Unfortunately, a weather system moving in tonight will bring in rain chances and cooler weather for most of next week.
Tonight brings more mild weather, with overnight lows only in the upper 50s. Clouds build in through the night, and rain showers will be possible after midnight. Winds will also begin to calm through the night and into the day on Monday.
Monday morning looks to be the rainiest part of the day. By around noon, the widespread and heavier rain should wrap up, with chances for lighter and more widespread showers in the afternoon and evening. Chances for showers and a few thunderstorms linger into Monday night, but I don't expect any severe weather.
Tuesday morning also looks to the be wettest part of the day, with rain still more scattered overall than Monday.
Behind the rain, cooler air arrives, dropping highs into the 50s and 60s. How long will the cooler weather stick around? I'll have the answer tonight at 6 and 11PM on ABC21.
