The Summit City is welcoming back baseball. As you go out to the ball games, you could get the peanut and cracker jacks. You could also get some of the many delicious food items that are available at the Parkview Field confessions stands. The food selection at Parkview Field is said to be unmatched.

ABC21 sat down with Bill Lehn, Director of Food and Beverage, to talk about welcoming fans back to get some ballpark bites. Bill says it means the world to him.

“Last year, when we were off-season because of the pandemic, everybody on staff was completely devastated. It was hard not to have our fans.” He added.

Bill tells us that this season’s menu will be scaled down a little to insure to safety for all guests and staff.

You can expect the following:
Chicken Tenders & FriesHot Dogs (Jumbo or Regular), Cheeseburger w/ Toppings (Lettuce, Onion and Tomato), Soft Preztels, Nachos w/ Cheese & Jalapeños, Philly Cheesesteak, Apple Crisps, and more.

A lot of the foods will also be distributed differently. “Like our nachos, we have in individual bags, with the cheese and jalapeños that comes with it. We also have a fan favorite, which is a soft pretzel.” Lehn says.

In regards to the concession stand experience, you can expect the precautions that you’ve seen at most restaurants and city facilities. Lehn tolds us “We’re a city facility so we’re following all of the city guidelines. Masking will still be in effect. We told our staff at orientation that the mask is a part of the uniform.”

He also added “ We will be keeping the shields up at the registers, just to make sure that everyone is safe. It’s part of what we’re doing right now until we’re in a position to where it is clear and safe to be able to not wear the masks.”

Before you stroll to the concourse to select your meal or snack, take a look at all the menu options at Parkview Field on the TinCaps website.
