Bluffton bank robbed, police release photo of suspect

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WPTA21) - Police are searching for a bank robber who targeted the 1st Source Bank on South Main Street Friday afternoon.

Police said a man demanded money around 3:22 pm and ran off once the teller gave it to him. The man drove away in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee which had been parked a block away.

Police say the man threatened bank employees with a gun but never showed one.

The robber captured on security camera

The robber is described as a slim man, taller than six feet with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing khaki shorts, a dark ball cap and a black t-shirt.

If you recognize the man in the photo above, you're asked to call police.
