Temperatures warmed up today but still stayed cooler than average. We'd normally expect highs in the mid 80s this time of year, and it will be warmer than average by Sunday, making for a hot Fourth of July.

Tonight brings warmer conditions than last night as lows only fall to the mid 60s. That's about 10° warmer than last night! Skies stay mostly clear.

Temperatures will be on the rise for the Fourth of July as highs rise to around the 90° mark. Skies will be clear and mostly sunny, with rain unlikely. It won't be terribly humid either, making for an overall nice day for outdoor plans.

The heat is here to stay for at least the first half of the week. Temperatures hover near 90° Monday and Tuesday before rain chances arrive around midweek. That brings slightly cooler weather with highs in the low to mid 80s.

I'll have a closer look at your Fourth of July forecast tonight at 6 and 11PM on ABC21!
