Temperatures are on the rise this Fourth of July as a hot and humid air mass builds in!

Tonight will be relatively warm, with lows only in the upper 60s. Skies stay mostly clear along with light winds, making for great conditions for viewing the fireworks tonight!

Monday sees similar if not slightly warmer conditions to the Fourth of July. Temperatures again enter the low 90s and heat index values enter the mid 90s thanks to humid conditions.

Hot and humid weather is here to stay Tuesday into Wednesday. Another weather system approaches Wednesday afternoon bringing rain chances into the forecast. Rain lingers into Thursday and brings cooler weather in its wake. We may not even make it into the 80s on Thursday!

I'll have your hourly forecast for tonight's fireworks plus your complete forecast for the week ahead tonight at 6 and 11PM on ABC21.
