FWCS students have until Friday to get first vaccine dose to enter drawing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Fort Wayne Community School students could win $500 in a drawing, but the need to get their first vaccine dose by Friday.

As ABC21 reported in June, Super Shot and FWCS partnered to offer the shots to students.

Students who receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at Super Shot by Aug. 6 will receive one entry to win.

One $500 prize will be awarded to a student at each FWCS high school (North Side, Northrop, Snider, South Side and Wayne). Winners will be announced at the start of the 2021-22 school year.

Super Shot is offering the Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for those over the age of 12.
