The heat has returned to wrap up the weekend, and it still feels pretty humid. That's thanks to a front parked over central Indiana. That front will exit tonight, bringing a relief from the humidity. However, the heat is here to stay for the first half of the week.
Tonight brings cooler conditions along with decreasing humidity and lows in the low 60s. Skies remain mostly clear along with light northwesterly winds around 5 mph.
Monday will be drier in terms of humidity but we'll still stay pretty hot. Highs return to the upper 80s with lots of sunshine and light northerly winds.
We'll make a run at 90° on Tuesday and stay in the mid to upper 80s through Thursday. A front Thursday will bring rain chances and cooler weather for next weekend. I'll talk about that tonight at 6 and 11PM on ABC21.
