Audiologist gives tips on how to spot hearing loss in your children

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21)- As school starts it may be helpful for parents to spot signs of hearing loss in their children.

Dr. Charlotte Thompson an Audiologist at GiveHear stopped by the ABC21 morning share her expertise and tips for parents who may be going through this change with their child.

Thompson said there are several signs of hearing loss that parents should recognize in their children. Some of those signs to look out for are if your child's grades are slipping, if they listen to music or watch TV at a loud volume, or if they frequently asks you to repeat things.
