FWPD asking for help finding suspect in fatal hit-and-run

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Fort Wayne police are asking for the community's help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a recent fatal hit-and-run.

The Fort Wayne Police Department said they are searching for the man as a suspect in a hit-and-run accident that killed a woman on Aug 25.

Police say it happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of East State Blvd.

The suspect, shown in the black Adidas t-shirt, was seen entering the Marathon gas station at State and Crescent prior to the crash, officers say.
