Scattered storms tonight, cooler Wednesday

Another late summer cold front is racing through Northern Indiana this evening, bringing with it a line of showers and thunderstorms. The severe weather threat is low, but through about 9-10 pm, some gusty wind, lightning, and heavy rain can be expected from any storm cluster. After midnight, skies will clear and temperatures will cool. Lows will fall into the upper 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday will be quite a bit cooler with highs in the upper 70s to near 80º. Humidity will also be lower thanks to the passage of that cold front overnight, so it will feel quite a bit more refreshing outside!

The heat builds in time for the weekend, however, with highs returning to the upper 80s.
