Scattered rain showers associated with remnants from the most recent tropical storm system brought some clouds and light rain to the region today, but a more substantial push of moisture will increase our rain chances Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 60s with scattered showers.
Tuesday will start just about as cloudy as today, but an approaching cold front after lunchtime will bring moderate rainfall to the region, dropping anywhere from 0.50-1.50" from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. No flooding or severe weather concerns, to be sure, but this is good news for many communities eager for a little more widespread rainfall.
Temperatures will remain in the 70s Tuesday, but tumble into the 60s Wednesday, the first day of fall!
